This is one of the buzzing streets of Bangkok. This place turns into street shoppers paradise at night. Close to many attractions, this is good for a night stroll..

Thi stretch is so people friendly, unique and happening The eating places, the shops, the friendly banter and bargaining, the many friendships made, the sheer variety of merchandise and brilliant Thai handicrafts make shopping on Sukhumvit pavements a memorable and rich experience It does more for the local handicraft industry than all the One Otop One Product and other innovative... This is totally wild and something you must see the entire sidewalk becomes a market and sellers appear selling anything you could want. You need to be ready to say no, and argue a price if you really want it, some place are expensive but it is real Bangkok life and amazing.

Police are killing completely the nice atmosphere which used to be before. Np more street vendors and what is very bad no more street bars. It used to be so nice to sit in a street bar till day brake to watch people. We always said let us go to the movie and have fun. Really sad.

Super fresh and very well prepared seafood and thai dishes in a simple setting with metal tables and plastic chairs. Absolutely recommendable

Traffic from my hotel window for the market, looks like the most popular place to be at night fri -sun. Will check it out tomorrow night. Behind seacon shopping centre, a must see shopping centre. Great shopping as you don't get pestered, and can shop, have lunch and enjoy. All good boutiques plus small fashion carts and great food in... More

Shukumvit Road street market is a noisy, dirty, prices always asked very exaggerated to reflect the touristy nature of the area but can bargain as much as one can. This is a whole day market but the street market becomes very busy during evening, stalls are quickly popping up alongside the renowned Nana BTS Skytrain station. If you are really... More

I am reviewing this in February having walked past every week for a very long time. Thankfully I can now walk the street between soi 3 and 33 without too much hassle. Previously there were vendors taking up much needed pedestrian space. It was always difficult to walk because inconsiderate vendors persisted in selling on both sides of the pavement... More
