Raman IX park is excellent. Many km of walking/bicycling paths, and gardens. There is a lake you can rent paddleboats to have some fun. This place is a welcome respite from Bangkok's crowds. Well worth the time.

This is the biggest city park and most beautiful. Many different zones, all beautiful, we spent a day relaxing there, 10 baht entrance. Worth a taxi ride from BTS Udom Suk to get here. Very clean, western standards, great park staff as no plastic rubbish!

Here is a giant green space in Bangkok with a large lake and beautiful garden. the easiest way to get here is taking the BTS to Udom Suk and then take a taxi.

YET! apart from the staff who seem to live in thepark, its a thoroughly enjoyable place with pedal boats, play park, restaurant, exercise area (though this is pretty rough) Bicycles are allowed in, which is pretty special for me although they... We visited after the kings death so lots of areas were cordoned off which was a shame as they are accommodating the huge ques wanting to visit the palace and preparing areas for the kings funeral

ok but lumpini is better. This park doesnt have as many trees and in the heat of the day, it can be unbearable! so careful, buy a lot of water depending on the season you come to Bangkok.
