If you like Blues then Ped's Band from Bangkok really delivers with excellent range and balanced virtuosity. The crowd was alive and responsive and the sets were long facilitating a slow drift into their mesmerizing rhythms and authentic bluesy vocals. The only discordant notes were fossilized white haired men sitting with nubile women emitting totally inappropriate vibes.

Quick stop for a drink and to listen to some music at Saxophone. It's a decent western-pub-jazz joint with a varied crowd. Good place - music varies on day (different jazz styles) Low key pub atmosphere

We have visited Saxophone several times on different visits to Thailand. It is easy to get to being close to Victory Monument Skytrain station. You can eat good food and listen to good music all under one roof. A lot of people who go here are local thai people so it is not completely filled by tourists. We enjoy mixing... More

If you like jazz, Thai food and a relaxed place, then this is the place to be in the heart of Bangkok. It's laid back, friendly and great bands visit this awesome place. The inside is almost entirely of wood so it gives a warm and welcoming feel.

Great place for jazz and live music lovers. The layout and furnitures are perfect to enjoy the music and their artists, on top of it food is good with an extensive menu at reasonable price.

My first visit to the Saxophone Pub after hearing about it for so long. Great little pub with an excellent band with lots of brass sounds! Fairly inexpensive to have a few beers considering the reputation of the music and venue. Would definitely recommend anyone to go along there and see for yourself. I didn't try the food but saw... Not the jazz oldies played with the saxophone that we had expected, but still chilling out. For sure not a place to chat during performance, but a place of good live music and fairly priced food. Most of the dishes cost 130-180 baht (except for the mains).
