Courses at the Thai Orchid Cooking School are based on the philosophy that a meal should be a beautiful thing, made with love and shared with love. The school was started by "A" and her family who have the same dream of sharing their love of Thai cooking with those who desire to learn how to cook delicious Thai food but also to experience the culture and poetry of Thai cuisine.

Can't say enough good things about my experience with this cooking school. Impressively clean and professional in every way. Kong and his family welcome you into their home and have a very structured but fun way of teaching you to cook Thai food successfully! Kong...More

Kong and his family are wonderful hosts. He picks you up from your hotel and takes you to his home where there is a dining room, classroom, and outdoor kitchen. The menu boasts traditional Thai dishes and upon leaving each guest gets a cookbook full...More

A truly wonderful experience! Our hosts were amazing...incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, caring...just the absolute best. Hi - are children allowed in the class, if they are 'assisting' their parents? Appreciate they won't be allowed their own workstation if under certain age. We're in chiang mai in April and would love to attend a class here, but wasn't sure if our son would be allowed to attend, he loves helping with cooking at home (he's 6)? Thanks!
