A refreshing and beautiful break from the hot Chiangmai weather. The tea changes color when you add lemon juice like a magical chemistry experiment.

This small museum is quite a little gem. It houses some interesting exhibits on Northern Thai architecture and is complemented with a wonderfully peaceful cafe. These are both hidden from the main road and hustle and bustle of city life by a large wall. The...More

A former residence of Northern thailand lord turns into a project to preserve architecture heritage of the old northen region. It would be of good interest for people who love traditional architecture as a plan of selected heritage building for the whole city center area...More

A small museum housed in a lovely old Lanna style house and just opposite one of the oldest and most beautiful temples in Chiang Mai made of wood. Houses models of Lanna buildings in Chiang Mai and a nice shop and cafe.

The compound of this small museum is inviting, and the museum is free. But the exhibits are tedious and not particularly interesting unless you're really into architecture or Lanna history.

The upstairs floor was closed off and the ground had a tiny room with the displays all in Thai. Only reason to stop here is to cool off if walking to Tha Pae Gate

A little walk around the corner from the temple we stumbled upon the centre. The garden was open and my girlfriend happily sat and posed in a cart. Inside the building was a gallery of watercolours and sketches and upstairs more information concerning the history...More

The centre is worth a short visit but the cafe in the garden is a peaceful spot with the best lemon and honey soda in Chiang Mai. We went nearly every day at some point and the staff are all very friendly. Recommended even if...More
