There are two areas for shopping for wooden items in the area: the Baan Tawai Village itself, which has scores of shops selling carvings, frames and smaller items, and many higher end shops lining the main access road, selling high-quality furniture creations. If you go...More

It's place that I always return to find some wood furniture and decorative items. The price is cheaper than in Bangkok and you have any options to select.

Over 250 shops that cater from small carved wood figures to household furniture. Master craftsman at work in most of the better shops. Expect to stay at least 3 - 4 hours here.

The crafts you find in Baan Tawai Village are really hand made and not ‘Made in China’. You will find anything you can think of, made from wood, and then some. Sooo many nice things. I wish I brought a fat wallet 😁😁😁
