We visited the Zoo with friends and family, its a great outing for the kids, there is a charge for entrance . Also they have a kids area with a animal parade. The Zoo is very well kept.

We found this zoo a pleasant attraction with a standard well above other Thailand Zoos we have visited. Well organised, sign posted and the trams (only 30 Baht round trip) made getting around the hilly site very easy. Note that you can only go through...More

The opportunity to see (and touch) animals I have never seen was great but as other reviews have pointed out some of the animals are kept in pretty poor conditions. They are working hard to correct this in many areas. There are buggy’s like golf...More

I just want to start by saying that I am by no means an animal rights activist. By visiting a zoo, I of course expect to see animals in enclosures. The word enclosure is by far a too kinda word to be used. Concrete walls,...More

It's THB 150 per person for the non-Panda tickets and if you include the Panda zone, then it is THB 100 more per person. If you are taking your own car inside, you need to pay THB 75 extra.

It was open during my visit. You might contact the zoo when in Chiang Mai before you go there. There are many things to do in Chiang Mai. I would also highly recommend a visit to Pai and Dragon Flight zip line.

Hello you can defiantly buy them on the gate when you arrive :) it's massive zoo so I don't think they would ever sell out.
