This museum provides an historic over of the Lanna people who settled here. Glad I bought a ticket to view all three museums so I felt I had more of the cultural wherewithal to understand what I would later see. Highly recommended.

If you want to learn about Lanna culture this is a neat place to check out. The artwork descriptions have english translations. Be sure to check out the giant mural if you go.

they do a very good job of the traditional and buddhist influences on religious practices, as well as talismans and amulets. Guides are in English and somewhat helpful; my college class got quite a bit out of it.

Really good museum, more displays than old relics. We paid to take in the three museums on our visit. Well worth the extra and they were a great way of finding out the history and cultures of Thailand.

I went with my wife to a few museums that day and by far this was my favorite one. It's by yourself, and no one bothers you. It is laid out well. Lots of ancient Thai weaving exhibits
