Beautiful royal temple of the first grade! Expect to see lots of gold gilded chedis here! Go in the morning when it is less crowded, and you might get to capture the rays of light of the morning sun with the chedi.

Beautifully decorated, full of golden details temple is really impressive and it is one of the must-visit places in Chiang Mai. Especially a golden stupa is beautifull and shines brightly in the sun.

A superb structure with carved and gilded pediments. Murals inside depict everyday life in 19th century Chiang Mai. Worth a visit.

This wat is having a beautiful wood carvings structure. So amaze with the old time fine art work. Please dressed properly before you come here. We're not going to party right? This place is for praying, the house of God. Be wise as a visitor.

This is one of those Buddhist temples that fills you with awe. The area surrounding it is beautifully kept. Although it does not restrict shorts for women, it is respectful to wear decent clothes to cover one’s body, I saw a young woman wrap a...More

When you see these temples and Buddas you are amazed at the ability of the people that designed and built them. Altough there a lot of these sights each one is different to the last one you saw.
