Yui is full of solid food knowledge. If you're a cooking enthusiast she will be able to answer pretty much any questions you might have about cooking and definitely Thai cooking. She's done her homework and most of the prep. Expect to cut your veggies,...More

My friend and I traveled through Chiang Mai and booked a cooking class at A Lot of Thai. All I can say is, wow! What an amazing and personal experience. What makes this class so unique is that it is taught in the instructor's home....More

Yui runs the best cooking class we've ever taken - not only did we learn about 8 new Thai dishes, but we had conversations that kept us thinking for days. We discussed our feelings about cooking and eating, many elements of Thai culture, and how...More

After much deliberation, I decided to take the course with more "mainstream" dishes, since I figured I was more likely to make it again once I learned how to. At the time we went (Nov 2016), Yui was only offering half day courses. The classes...More

I cannot recommend A Lot of Thai cooking class enough! The instructor, Yui, was very knowledgable, not only in cooking techniques, but also in nutrition. The classroom consisted of 8-9 well appointed stations. Each student had use of an apron, cooking utensils & the required...More

She picked us up in her van, and even dropped us off after the class. It was a lot of fun and definitely added to the experience.

TA won't let me post the email address I used but I imagine it's the same one that's on the website. I wonder if Yui's out of town or something. It's worth being persistent if you have the time. It's a fabulous class!
