Rather commercialised place already, loads of Asian tourists there to take pictures. Nice to stroll around but after 40 min or so you have basically seen the place. Beautiful greenery & garden. Many small art galleries etc. We wanted to have lunch there on Sunday...More

It's a beautiful area with lots of greenery, but not typical Thai style. The shops are not that interesting, but there are very nice coffee shops and restaurants. So if you come here and combine it with lunch or dinner it's worth the 15 min...More

This is a gorgeous compound of artist workshops, great for taking pictures (although there are many "no photo" signs, so be careful) or shopping for slightly pricey handicrafts. There are also a few coffee shops to sit and relax in. I took a watercolor painting...More

Saturday morning, a few shops are closed but many coffee places are open. Appreciated the greenery and the beauty of cluster building. Some shops offer craft class, and sell craft items.

Low-key Thai artist community with cafes, a market, public workshops & many handicrafts for sale. If you are a handmade lover so this should be a must stop spot for you.

Small cafes and handicraft shops, even an outdoor stage for mini concerts and film shows makes this a place with visiting. But go there on a day with activity, presumably weekends!

There is really not much of interest here at all. You would be far better off wandering the back streets of Chiang Mai old city if you want a cultural experience. Sorry, but just do not get this one..

Interesting little compound with artists having their own little space. Cool set up with some nice style, but art was not that impressive to me. Some shops just had some kitschy things. The best was the jeweler with some nice brass and plated handmade things...More
