Elephant Spa - great time had by all
Bong was our guide for the half day tour of the elephant sanctuary. He is a really funny guy and had us all in stitches with his funny stories and is also clearly very passionate about the elephants in his care. We made elephant food and got to feed them, then we trekked into the jungle with them to see the elephants cracking open coconuts which had fallen from above. We then returned to base to give the elephants a mud bath, this is truly a hands on experience, so don't be shy! We then showered the elephants and finally cleaned ourselves up and made a lovely soup under the guidance of Bong. All in all, a very good experience!

    Great experience
Never rook a bath with an elephant before... great experience for an afternoon. Went there with our two kids (12 and 8), making snacks for the animals. Then feed them, cuddel up to them, taking action fotos. Then grease them with mud... great thing for the kids. The tour is guided by applaudable guides, who give everything for their elephant. I honestly admire such devotion... great thing to have a nice afternoon an helping with some money!

    10/10 Recommend
Our tour guide Go was an excellent guide who made sure everyone had a great time. The interaction and knowledge he gave everyone was fantastic. The elephants are very well taken care of and you could tell even as a tourist. Some sanctuaries let you ride the elephant or you see them hitting the elephant, at this one there is none of that allowed. I highly recommend 10/10 if you are thinking of an elephant sanctuary choose this one!

    A must-do!
Went for a lovely trip and visited the lovely elephants. We helped prepare food for the elephants prior to meeting them for their feed. The caretakers were gentle and taught us how to properly feed them. We got a chance to see three of the elephants up close. After that, they were still roaming around playing with the sand and grass which was so adorable. It was such a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this! Safe for kids as well.

    Great experience
Great experience. Elephants look well cared for. You get up very close with a handler in control at all times. Lots of engagement, feeding, walking, washing, bathing and mud. The guides are great energetic characters.

You have to see for yourself
This place is by far the most amazing experience. The staff are so dedicated and passionate about their jobs and their love for the elephants shows in everything they do. Very professional and tons of time with the elephants at each stage. You get professional photos you can buy and they send you them that evening. I’d go every day if I could. Close up experience with the elephants is so precious. Thank you so much everyone who works so hard in caring for these beautiful animals.

Brilliant afternoon and nice change from the beach/bars.
Really good fun and great atmosphere. The best was the host and his sense of humour plus getting into the water with the elephants to scrub them. Also nice to know we were contributing to the care of the animals which were all rescue elephants.

    Wow!
Wow is the only word I really have for this place! Honestly such a brilliant experience to be able to feed the elephants, bathe them in mud and then shower them off whilst knowing how well they are treated after being rescued. I cannot recommend this place enough, the staff are so welcoming and extremely knowledgeable as well as getting some amazing pictures of the experience for such a small amount of money! The staff really do go the extra mile. If you’re in Koh Samui, it’s a must go!

This is a must visit experience in Koh Samui!
Incredible experience! The staff are very nice and welcoming. They showed us the elephants and shared their story and from where they were saved from. The feeding and bathing experience was incredible and you could feel the connection to the elephants. This is a must visit experience for anyone visiting Koh Samui! When you visit, please consider a donation to this wonderful place. The staff are volunteers, and the money goes directly to the elephants.

A lovely day filled with fun and laughter. We made the elephants food, we fed them, walked with them, gave them a mud bath and washed them down. There are showers to use after the mud bath. Then after we had watched how to make glass noodle soup we made our own lunch. Plenty of bottles of water and watermelon to finish up with.

The elephants were tied up and I saw the people who work there pull the elephants' ears to get them to do things such as bathe in the mud with the tourists. They said they let them roam free after the tours but I don't know if I believe it. There is a baby elephant that they use to try to get people to buy photos that the staff took. They say the baby elephant will have to go back to the circus if they don't get more paying tourists. The company used to be called Major Safari Tour which has terrible reviews.
