9 hole course up in the hills near chaweng. Course was build in 2006 but they ran out of money so the big clubhouse was never finished and they stopped paving the paths at a certain point. Very difficult course but beautiful scenery. We paid 2500 bath including bag, buggy, glove, balls and Tees. Buy enough balls because you will... More

We paid 1650baht per person, that included 9 holes green fee, full golf bag and buggy, so quite a reasonable price. The course was quite demanding with lots of hills and slopes and narrow fairways, so definitely suggesting to do it with a buggy and have a fair deal of balls in the bag. The greens were in very bad... More

greens are pretty good, fairways a little rough but OK. In return, all holes are large natural beauty,- in and out of the rainforest and coconut plantations and all 9 require precision rather than lenght. Buy som extra balls - and play it more than once!

This place is terrible The course needs a lot of love and attention. It's almost impossible to distinguish the fairways from the rough and the greens are shocking. The club house is non existent and the road up to the course is not finished properly. It is however very cheap but my advice would be to spend the extra money... More

To describe this as a "Country Club" is totally misleading. The Pro-shop equivalent is a room smaller than most average bathrooms, the rental clubs are randomly put together mixing blades and cavity back clubs from different brands to form a "set", the grips on which are awful. The course itself is just poor. Fairways are littered with random patches of... More

My father and I was expecting some fresh greens/fairways and some good quality rental gear, instead all we got was rusty mixed branded set of clubs and a buggy for £80 for a round of 18. The conditions are poor, they were so poor at one point we played our shots on the wrong hole! It was so poor in... More

This is a 9hole course that was supposed to be expanded to 18, but ran out of money so it's just there in a sort of half-maintained state. Fairways are a little rough, greens aren't great but definitely not too bad either. I've played a lot of municipal courses about on par with this. Not too tough but enough hills... More

The name of the course, Royal Samui Golf and Country Club, is somehow misleading as there is not a royal country club but just 9 holes of golf with a kind of makeshift club house. 9 holes of golf in a very hilly environment with steep slopes up and down, sometimes with very big boulders in the fairways. Admittedly, you... More

After reading some positive reviews I was looking forward to a game of golf on holiday and wish I had not of bothered. 2600 BAHT to play 9 holes on a Mickey Mouse badly kept course that it being torn up by absolute hackers who drive on the fairways and green approaches. After I bounced round the first 9 I... More
