A lot of shops are closed and you see a lot of ruins around. Typical tourist area. At the beach front they install a new sewerage. A good food place is difficult to find. We enjoyed our time at our place with private beach and a fantastic rooftop pool (baan plai haad). A good place to come down and relax... More

Wongamat beach is the one to go for Pattaya residentials who live in Nakluea (north of Pattaya) - ways to the beach are long and a bit tricky to find - parking with car is not easy - still a footwalk is required - the beachside is really small and not attained - no cleaning happening - cannot recommend

Been there in windy winter time so i have no chance to soak myself. Anyway, clear sky and the beach never disappoint us as always.

Far away from busy Pattaya. No people asking you to stay in their sun loungers. You can just bring your own mat and you can choose which part of Wongamat you like to chill. I suggest you go to through the small sois to the beach near the condos. Wongamat beach is very peaceful, fresh and the sunset is very... More

As this beach was close to our hotel so it was just 3-4 minutes walk. This beach is totally less crowded . You can enjoy swimming here. Can find massage peoples around the beach. Cleanliness should be little better .

The beach is nice however the water in Pattaya is filthy and one should probably not swim in it. I had an early walk a few times and the amount of litter that is cleaned out everyday by cleaning crews is disgusting. There is also open sewage obviously being spilled out into the water from probably illegal pipes that show... More

Tucked away in North Pattaya, Wong Amat beach is frequented mainly by expats and locals living in the surrounding area. Perfect for a lazy stroll by the beach, sun-bathing and swimming.
