Amazing structure, probably the best I've ever seen ! Every bit of wood has something carved in it. You can take amazing pictures from outside, but bring your wide angle lens. 28mm wasnt enough, 14mm did the magic.

There's really not enough word to describe this place! This is a must see! The architecture is uncompromised. It is suggested to dress appropriately as this is a sacred site - specifically women- knees and shoulders covered... mainly dress conservatively. There is a restaurant that overlooks the temple that was wonderful! A trip to Pattaya would not be complete without... More

It took a while to find this place it could really be better signposted but once there it was great fun with elephants and horse drawn carriages and traditional Thai dancing. Also the Sanctuary and its carvings are something to see/

Although the temple was under renovation, it was still possible to see much of it. The size is quite daunting and the craftsmanship shown in the carving of this all wood temple is amazing.

After spending one day in Bangkok, our ship still had half a day in Laem Chabang so we took the opportunity to hire a van in port and visited Pattaya. The only two places that we wanted to check out were Sanctuary of Truth and then the beach. Sanctuary of Truth is only about 40 years old and an ongoing... More

We visited Sanctuary of Truth with family over the holidays, it's a very nice and interesting place with all this fantastic wood work that is a never ending conservation project. You need to spend a few hours here to be able to enjoy the fantastic building. It is probably the most fascinating attraction in Pattaya. There is also a nice... More

This is a temple built for the past 30 years and will take another 30 years. It's really expensive to get in 500 THB, which is ridiculous for this attraction but they are using this money to build it. THe work is very nice and pure tourist attraction.

While in Pattaya I visited the Sanctuary of Truth. The wooden craftsmanship is amazing, not only viewing from the outside, but also all the internal carvings. After visiting the Sanctuary, you may also go on an Elephant Ride or Boat Ride. Well worth a visit as it is located in Pattaya so easy to reach.

We went much later than we expected and reached at around 5. it a 5 minute walk from the parking area. At first you get a glimpse of the intricately carved roof and the lighting was just right. It is right on the bay and work is still being done on the structure. It depicts Hindu deities and portrays anecdotes... More
