This was something my partner and I chose to do on a rainy day and all I can say is it wasn’t worth the money or hour journey. We went around the main part of the aquarium that was pretty dated and run down, and...More
Went there with Family during a day of mixed weather. Having been to Aquaria all over the World, we all left really very disappointed with the overall offering, and more-so for the conditions for the aquatic life there.
Very cramped tanks, some with just bare...More
The aquarium itself was a good spot to visit, the displays were fine. It’s not a big aquarium but does have a rather scary robotic mermaid talking about how we need to keep the ocean clean...but then upon walking outside on their walking trail there...More
We came here on a rainy day and were a bit disappointed. The aquarium is small, not in such a great shape and some of the fish are in really tiny aquariums. The turtle place was closed on they day of our visit. Ironically, they...More
Small yet big enough to spend time. Educational with good film clips on Turtle Preservation Efforts and two other movies. Cape Panwa is a beautiful area and this Aquarium is located in a beautiful cove.

Kids liked it. Don't get all excited about the "show" though. There was a huge banner there (as of a few months ago) that advertised in exciting big red letters that there was a show a few times a day. This "show" was a 10-minute projection in an empty 20-person theatre, featuring a talking mermaid robot statue. But overall we found it a decent place to pass a rainy day. However, they do have dual pricing - where foreigners are charged a MUCH higher price.
