If you are around Panwa, I recommend to see this, but its probably not worth extra trip. Some fishes are really interesting, but in general the aquarium is not too big

A nice aquarium with plenty to see and to learn. You can spend there an hour or many hours, depending on how much you want read the educating texts on the fish, corals and other sealife. Our 7-year old liked the place very much! The Up side down Catfish, the tunnel with the Rays and huge Sea Groupers were his... More

I was skeptical but this Aquarium was very well done. It is geared towards education and showing what human impact is doing to the oceans. I was very pleasantly surprised.

A very nice aquarium. That seems very geared to inform people about impact we all have on the environmet. Plus there is a great turtle sanctuary just right behind the aquarium just up the road a bit

Having been to Cape Panwa 8 times we had not visited the Aquarium so the wet days at the start of this holiday in December seemed the ideal time to go. Interesting way to spend a couple of hors.

Small aquarium that is educational for kids. A small pool that they can touch things such as sea cucumber and star fish. First section has small tanks of fish but then lots of sections that teach kids to look after the sea and coral as well as how important the coral is to Thailand. Spend a couple of hours watch... Panwa is not a great spot to travel with kids, so this was a fun little activity. The highlight was not the aquarium, but the turtle tanks out the back. Pros: nice range of fish, a little walk through tunnel, some fish types we have not seen and a nice environmental message. Cons: small so very quick, looking quite aged... More

I came here for something to do cos it was bad weather. But it is realllly tiny and the cages for the fish are far too small for the bigger fish. The fans to react like the sea were old and broken in the tank. It cost 180 b for foreigners. Not worth going out there.

The aquarium is just fair enought, nothing you wouldn't find in your own country, just an average place - still fascinating for those who loves sealife - but somehow i expected more. The real big issue i have with this place is the fact that if you are not Thai you pay double price for the entrance - which i... More
