Layan beach is situated in a Lagona style beach setting. The beach is beautiful and the color of the water is amazing when you have clear blue skies. You need to remember the tide as the water is pretty shallow at certain points. We were...More

Such beautiful beach but infested with flies that gave painful bites all over my body. It is worst under the shade or in restaurants. The stench of clogged up drain is pretty bad too. This place needs a good clean up!

I travelled to Layan Beach from Bang Tao beach about 20-25 minutes by moped. A beautiful stretch of beach that is quieter than Bang Tao and no less impressive. It took a couple of minutes before realising that Layan Beach is a continuation of Bang...More

We read about Layan Beach in a local magazine article touting it as one of the 3 best “unknown” beaches in Phuket. While not really unknown, Layan Beach does not suffer from the overcrowding and mass of humanity at the more popular Patong Beach. What...More

Me and my family were staying close by so decided to visit (it was less than 20 minutes walk away). We found the beach to be very nice indeed. My advice would be to go prepared: take a few snacks with you and some water...More

Read a review how it was the most boring beach and it was right on point. No one was rowdy, no hardcore water sports, no jersey shore boys and girls. Perfect! If you have family and/or want a quiet beach almost all to yourself this...More

The waves are quite large and dangerous for younger kids. The water is filthy, not the typical clear blue that is most Thai beaches. Trash all over. And I got cut up by the coral (that you can't see from the dirty water) while trying...More

We really liked this beach, it's so pretty and it seems like not a lot of tourists actually go there since we only saw locals there. I highly recommend it!

A beautiful beach with warm shallow water. There are a couple of restaurants but we found a small one just behind the beach with delicious food. You can get a massage on the beach but otherwise it was uncommercial. A great day out.
