In its heyday, Dalat Station boasted three arrivals and departures daily. The French built the railway station itself, while the zigzagging tracks were planned and implemented by the Swedish, experts in tricky terrain.

The railway station is located near the central of Da Lat with few minutes drive from Xuan Huong lake. It is an old railway station which was built by the French when they first came to Vietnam. This place is an old place for those...More

There is a good history behind this train but all you see is the train none of the history and it overcrowded and very on the tourist trap overcrowded and better things to see in my opinion

Lovely station. Schedules are “fluid”- (dependent on available passengers) so don’t be on a tight schedule. At the terminus is a historic Buddhist temple (plan on spending two hours). It’s less than a 10 minute walk from the train terminal. This is one case where...More

We booked a tour and saw multiples sites on our day, this train station was one of them. It was ok but if I would have minimal time to spend in Dalat, there're better things to see. The trains station is nice, inside and outside....More

When you are interested in art-deco architecture, this is a must-go. You can find old trains inside. When I was there, it was quiet, but I can imagine this place attracts a lot of tourists in the busy season.

The train station is an iconic symbol of Dalat and could be a wonderful historical attraction. Unfortunately poor planning has let the place be overrun by cheap vendors, loud music, and generally unruly tourists. A few photos from outside is the only value and attraction.

Think this attraction is worth a visit, it has some wonderful history, The train doesn't go very far anymore, however tourists like to take a ride.

Apart was the extremely rude ticket booth seller, this train trip was one of the highlights of Dalat. The old train felt like it was out of a film. We opted for the hard seats at the back of the train. The signal man on...More
