There are many similar stalls but there is still quite a range of goods and bargains can be had by haggling with the stall holders. We bought a handbag, T-shirt and speakers and food from some of the many food stalls. It was very busy...More

I have been to night markets in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, and Taiwan and this is the first night market that I have disliked. It was mostly filled with row after row of the same old junk, it's a big night market but if you...More

Another Night market as it is everywhere in asia and asian regions all across. But this one is better with wider choices and lots of bargaining. Surprisingly the clothes( t shirts and shorts) for daily wear are little better than some of the available in...More

Just simple night market, nothing interesting. Some products are produced in Vietnam. There is some choice of souvenirs. Nearby many interesting places.

It was raining when we got there, most of the stalls are selling pretty similar items. Not many stalls are selling food. Recommend to go there after dinner.

We were in Hanoi for 3 nights and every night walked the night market, come rain or dry. The streets will be closed to traffic yet the occasional motorbikes will compete for space with shoppers. Very interesting as each night we will find new shops...More

Markets in general have been a bit of a let down in Vietnam for me (having visited other markets in Asia). Don't expect variety or good quality! But we really enjoyed walking around the lake and watching what was going on there - dancing, kids...More

We went on a Sunday night. Main streets are closed and markets are set up. A lot of people come but it doesn't feel uncomfortably crowded. Street performers/artists, street food, people playing games, children riding tiny cars, a lot of dogs on and off lead...More

If you're looking to spend some money and do a bunch of shopping I would suggest doing it at this market as opposed to the one in Ho Chi Minh city. I found the prices here to be much much better than at the other...More
