Just simple night market, nothing interesting. Some products are produced in Vietnam. There is some choice of souvenirs. Nearby many interesting places.

It was raining when we got there, most of the stalls are selling pretty similar items. Not many stalls are selling food. Recommend to go there after dinner.

We were in Hanoi for 3 nights and every night walked the night market, come rain or dry. The streets will be closed to traffic yet the occasional motorbikes will compete for space with shoppers. Very interesting as each night we will find new shops...More

Markets in general have been a bit of a let down in Vietnam for me (having visited other markets in Asia). Don't expect variety or good quality! But we really enjoyed walking around the lake and watching what was going on there - dancing, kids...More

We went on a Sunday night. Main streets are closed and markets are set up. A lot of people come but it doesn't feel uncomfortably crowded. Street performers/artists, street food, people playing games, children riding tiny cars, a lot of dogs on and off lead...More

If you're looking to spend some money and do a bunch of shopping I would suggest doing it at this market as opposed to the one in Ho Chi Minh city. I found the prices here to be much much better than at the other...More

This is a market that starts after dark and then comes alive. Some of the stalls barter but a lot don’t so I would suggest you take your time and walk away if you don’t think you are getting value. It is a lot of...More

They don’t really barter at all and if they do it’s only a very small amount not like in Hoi an and Ho Chi Minh, lots of the vendors seem in a really bad mood even when asking to see something. I have never actually...More

It will depend on your size . If you are a westerner and you are bigger than a women’s size 12 or a men’s med to large you won’t get them at the markets. If you are under this size you will pay anything from 100,000 vnd up... More
