The Ly Thai To Park lies close to the shores of Hoan Kiem Lake and memorializes this famous location plus Vietnam's ancient leader :)) The tall, imposing statue is surrounded by a broad plaza of stone tiles, bonsai trees, and fresh flowers... The park is very popular among the city's residents, and you can observe all manner of activities here...... More

If you are having a stroll around the lake this is a good park to rest your weary feet for a while and watch the locals going about daily life. It also has an impressive monument of an old King

During the Chinese New Year celebrations the Ly Thai To Park was transformed into an amusement park and most impressively a book market. There were 1000s of families walking around and entertaining their kids and shopping books. It was a pleasure to see the locals enjoying themselves, and feeling the atmosphere. There were loads of lights during the evening, which... More

This is a small park next to the lake. The park features a monument to Ly Thai To, the emperor of 1000 years ago or so.

Central located and you will pass by for sure during your stay in Hanoi. Best experience can come in the early morning when you can drop by and join the local group practising Laughing Yoga. During the day it's quite quiet, until late afternoon when it filled up with local families, school kids, young artist group rehearsal, tourist... Nice to... More

This palce is near the lake in the old quarter of Hanoi. It is a nice place where walkimg around with the family. All the area is worth of being visited and walking around the lake.

In the evening there are many dancers of rap. They chain the complex figures and it is great! The children play with bright electric scooters. Rollers are in on this!
