This cultural friendship Palace looks not very impressive outside but inside was lovely. We went here for performances with our kids which were lovely and great

The Palace is used as venue for events like concerts, meetings, wedding, etc., it's not really a place for sightseeing...

An interesting soviet built monolith built on the grounds of the previous french exhibition halls that were bombed out of existence. It is terrible inside and worthy of a look because of it. Many people still marry there - I assume as its cheap and many party affiliated meetings are held in the main hall - I attended one associated... More

Originally called the Palace of Soviet-Vietnamese Friendship, this sprawling behemoth is all grey concrete all the time, with bits of anodised gold thrown in for good measure, and capped by a magnificent pagoda-like metal roof that proudly defaces everything a pagoda is usually supposed to be like. If you enjoy dystopian state-socialist architecture, then make this a must-see! Don't miss... More
