We spend maybe an hour here and took in the sights, taking a few photos as we ambled around. It is a really scenic temple and interesting too.

I had a wonderful experience but mostly because of the school children who were there. They were all wanting to practice thier English and were super cute and fun, giving high fives, saying hello, and other basics. All super darling.

Our visit coincided with students going to pray for success in their exams. This was most interesting. Not a Buddhist place of worship, but to Confucius.

I really enjoyed our time at the Temple of Literature. It combines beautiful architecture, significant cultural insight, and details of history. I have a better understanding of Vietnamese culture and history from my visit there.

It is an amazing place that everyone must visit. However you need a guide to explain you what you observe.

Very nice place to walk through and relax from the hussle bussle of Hanoi. Can get quite busy but the complex is large so crowds aren't to noticeable.

I have always visited it earlier in the day and when I went pass it around 6pm it was closed. Your best bet is to schedule your visit a bit earlier in the afternoon and go for dinner around that area when you are finished... More
