Currently used by students to celebrate their graduation. When we were there, the place was decorated to celebrate Poetry festival. There are few buildings, it is mainly a nice garden with a pool. Not an essential visit if you are short of time.

The Temple of Literature is a must-see thing in Hanoi. It is beautiful and very interesting. It's a few kms out of centre of town, but definitely worth a visit.

A place full of history with pretty pools and pagoda. Managed to buy a cute turtle statue from the shop which will be a great souvenir. Good place to spend an hour.

We used the hop-on, hop-off bus that stops next to the entrance. Wonderful environment and remarkable cultural centre and history

It is a beautiful temple with lots of different items to see within it. It might be a good idea to get the headset. We had a guide, who wanted to describe everything in detail. We were definitely burnt out by the time we left.

I have always visited it earlier in the day and when I went pass it around 6pm it was closed. Your best bet is to schedule your visit a bit earlier in the afternoon and go for dinner around that area when you are finished... More
