HRC lies at the heart of Hanoi's live and electronic music scene, both in terms of depth and breadth of acts and events, and in terms of quality of stage, sound and visual set up for live bands. If you are into good, original music or would simply enjoy an evening drink in one of the cities friendliest, most dynamic and most diverse bars, HRC is a must visit on your Hanoi agenda. We hold events every weekend and more low key nights during the week. I haven't been here since 2014. This was one of the best weekend night destination back then. I get back here on a day with Belgium bands and DJs. The atmosphere is still as cool as ever. Filled with expats, awesome expats, friendly expats which are truly people that I am looking for to get acquaintance.

Very nice place to have a good night dancing with your friends Obviously the music depends on the night's theme, but it's usually good Alcohol is no that expensive though and they also have very nice exhibition sometimes

An old favorite haunt in Tay Ho, HRC has been an institution in Hanoi for years. Generally filled with expats that live around the area, HRC has different offering each night from open mike nights to international touring artists and DJs. A much better option than the glut of bars in the old quarter serving up the same tired recipe... More

Unlike most places in Hanoi this one has a perfect acoustic for electronic music. This is a real night club that makes you even forget that you're in Asia.

I only visited Rock City for one drink on a Thursday evening, however I was suitably impressed. Good layout, great sound and the bar prices weren't too considering the quality of the venue. A nice mix of tourists and locals as well.

Went there for an electro night and did not expect it to be so good. The venue, the music quality, the Lightning, the drinks and of course the people. many expats but also locals which was a lovely party mix. Had lots of fun, Go!

I rate this space. Find music happening in Hanoi which isn't happening else where. Punk; techno; hip hop. Well worth a visit!

One of the few most popular places where expats of Hanoi hang out. There is an open mic every WED (very good quality life music) and other events every SAT/SUN. So if you want to party out of Old Quater with locals go to HRC
