Interesting show, I can imagine how children would find this fun in the olden days. The traditional music was the best part. The theater is very old and falling apart, our sets were like sitting on wood benches.

Our tour group visited this water puppet theater and found the performance to be very good. The performance lasted about 45 minutes and the pictures on Trip Advisor are accurate. Amazing what the performers can do. BE ADVISED - a couple of the skits release...More

It's a lovely cultural show, although the stories were sometimes hard to keep up with, as (of course) the speech and singing is all in Vietnamese.

We had a great time. The music was relatively subdued. The theater lovely. The drama of the ducks and fox, and the animal ballets were wonderful. Traditional instruments used. Live singing. So much better than we expected.

The show was awesome. Very affordable, our show was at 4, loads of people were coming in well after 4:15 and it disturbs the show. That’s the only downfall. The show itself was pretty neat with all the theatrics. Was about an hour long.

There are regular 1 hr shows throughout the day. Bought tickets just before the show. Interesting small theatre with deeply inclined seating in the stalls and a balcony. The show is a series of scenes showing the life of the people of the north as...More

We were fortunate to get second row seats to this very lovely water puppet show. Sponsored by the Ministery of Culture. The acts are accompanied with North Vietnamese folk music and singing. There are 12 acts in total and is incredible how the puppeteers work...More

I enjoyed this, but it lacked something. I saw it as a traditional show, that had to be seen. The puppeteers are very skilful at what they do, as are the musicians. Must admit I slept through part of it.
