Really enjoyed interacting with the cheeky monkeys. A definite high light of my trip to Vietnam. It is an easy day trip.

It’s a holiday / day trip destination for locals - if your from Aus or somewhere with nice nature reserves don’t bother. We caught the ferry to Can Gio from HCM, which was a mistake to start with. When a scooter finally agreed to take...More

This is an interesting one day tour. My tour guide Ms Dana and driver Mr Quan are both very friendly and easy to communicate with. The guide knows the place and able to provide much details about the place and its history. Overall I had...More

This tour is amazing, pick up and drop off from our hotel. We had a visit to a market and then on to the reserve. Feeding the crocodiles and monkeys. Another boat trip through the mangroves and on to a delicious lunch. Throughout the day...More

The first few hours of this tour were actually okay. Drove all over District 1 picking people up, but it’s a group tour so that’s to be expected. Once we picked up our last passengers, the guide told us that his goal was to have...More

Did the trip with Les Rives, who organised everything well. The guide was informative and helpful. Yes, as some of the negative commenters say in earlier reviews, the river is pretty filthy and lots of water hyacinths broken off by passing boats float downstream. Boats...More

If you have time to spare for half a day while in Saigon, make a trip out to Can Gio. It takes two hours depending if you are able to catch the ferry on the first try. The ferry crosses the Nga Be River. The...More

Overall events were fun & educational for the children. However, monkeys are nasty & fierce. Don’t bring any food to monkey areas, ie monkey island & crocodile farm. The guide called the monkeys over but they aren’t cute & cuddly.

Hi Carol. I'm sure there are nicer places to see animal life than this one. To be honest, most of us and other visitors (especially children) didn't enjoy the visit, quite the opposite. We were scared of the monkeys as they... More
