We bought tickets the same day (friday) and got very good seats in front. Our kids liked the show even they did not understand any Vietnamese. It would be lovely to see ”behind the scenes” material!

Lovely little theatre the show includes live music and singing and the puppets are very colourful. There are several different stories all in Vietnamese with now translation but that just adds to the charm trying to figure out what's going on. Show only lasts about...More

Absolutely loved it. It's in Vietnamese so unless you speak the language you don't know what they're saying, but the puppets transcend language. It's pretty easy to understand what's going on. It's a quaint little theatre only a short walk from District 1 and you...More

I really enjoyed the 11th century old Vietnamese cultural show with live music of local musicians. Interesting to know about the olden days cultural shows.

The show itself is great, I didn't mind not understanding the story line due to no English. It's a relatively authentic experience and it does have a comedic aspect to it. Unfortunately MANY audience members had phones out during it, which were in our line...More

I know a lot of people have given stellar reviews to this show, but in my opinion its just an average show and avoid it if you are short of time, Given that this show is mostly visited by foreigners, isn't there a need to...More

I give it 4 stars as it’s really unique. But it’s nothing spectacular or beautiful. Went to buy tickets and only last row available. I asked her how about tomorrow? She says same. The day after? Same. Lol. I believe all front rows are reserved...More

The show was good, I felt it was not great. It is unique and the only one in the world. I think it was something you have to do at least once in your lifetime.

The show was nice. Witty at some parts but a bit boring at others. The interesting thing is that the puppeteers are underwater during the show. Watch the the 6-7 people playing the instruments and singing/ speaking. Overall it’s fun. Had a bit of a...More

Hi, The ticket cost around USD10 per person. No advance booking is required as you can purchase the ticket at the booth next to the theater. Just be there 30 minutes before the show starts. If you are with children, they... More

Lasts maybe a bit less than an hour. Probably cheap enough that you could leave early if the child gets bored. About $US7 or £UK5. Enjoy if you go, try and get seats near the front for best view.
