This is a museum of traditional Chinese medicine. It could have been really boring but we had the best guide -- she was knowledgeable, spoke great English, and had a good sense of humour. She made the tour lots of fun. This museum is inside...More

I think how much you enjoy the museum depends on your guide. The video you watch at the beginning is old but interesting. There are lots of interesting things in the museum, but our guide tried so hard to be engaging and it wasn't working....More

An excellent place to understand the history of the traditional Chinese medicine in Vietnam. The collection of antiques tools for TCM is integrated. spent few nearly 3 hours there to appreciate the collection and the history.

Really enjoyed it. Lovely staff, informative. Better than visiting museums all about conflict. A bit hard to find but worth it. Only $5 for a 20 min taxi there from district 1

It's 3.3 km from Ben Thanh market so you can catch a taxi, the total price is $2. Last time, my local friend drove and took me there. You can use Google Map to navigate the shortest route by bus.

The free guided tour takes 30 minutes, although ours was a little longer to include some questions and answers, and photo taking. All in all we spent about an hour and a half here.
