Saigon Outcast was born early 2012 with 3 shipping containers stacked akibo on a grassy block of land, next came DIY wood plank swings, zen garden, I-beam torri gate, fridge of beer, a half-pipe and a whole lot of good vibes. We are genuine 100...more

188/1 Nguyen Van Huong Street, Ward Thao Dien. District 2, Ho Chi Minh City 70000, Vietnam
One of the worst places I've ever been in my life. I went there from district 1 thinking it would be a nice place to spend the afternoon, but not only there's nothing to see there, the place is horrible, with a lot of trash...More

Saigon Outcast is mostly a restaurant with good American fare. The chef trained in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Cafe and the menu reflects that style. Besides food, there is so much going on in here. Different activities every night like movies and life drawing....More

Out of the D1 Buzz. A great "escape" anytime.
Almost next to the river, trendy, unpretentious and clean air.
We had good food and met wonderful travellers and Thao Dien locals.
Dog friendly too.
Service team and management all attentive to western demands.
Certainly a unique place and pretty sure it's breaking a heap of health and safety regulations (rock climbing with beer and skateboarding a definite no no in Australia)
Good beers and nice open area / beer garden. Worth a visit.
Came with my wife and 5 year old daughter and left after only 20 mins.
Nothing special or unique... much smaller than I thought it would be. Rock climbing wall area was small, food selection limited, shopping offerings not super unique or interesting.
Go for the rock climbing wall! This place has become a must-see for travelers and locals alike because it has weekend markets and an awesome atmosphere. There is often live music, lots of space for kids to run around, and full menu.
We got a GRAB taxi for about 20 minutes only to find out this place was closed, there was rock climbing still open but we were there for food, drinks, shopping, etc. Sweet artwork plasters the inside and outside of this venue.
