There are renovations going on here, so I think that where the market currently is, may be temporary, but I am not sure. However, there really are bargains to be got here. There is not much space to walk around, so be patient and be careful and respectful with other people. This was really good.

Just another market with people trying to steal your money with hyper-inflated prices on Made in China souvenirs. Good to visit to get some food but when comes to souvenirs you can find alternative style souvenirs done by artists or designers around the town. Only good think about the market is the central location.

The actual market is closed for renovation but you can still visit the distributed temporary sites. The scale is equivalent to small universal studio theme park interspersed with busy roads. I witnessed a snatch thief on motor bike that went against traffic flow to rob an suspecting tourist of his handphone. The tourists gave chase to no avail so please... More

I went here hoping to strike a bargain with some of the goods. But because the actual market is close or relocated. Not sure for what reason, it doesn't feel the same. The new location seems to be unorganised and very tight to move around. It discourage people to actually buy from there. But it's still not a bad place... More

I don't know why more people don't rave about this place! Sure, it's crowded, but that adds to the experience, right? There is so much to see and do here, it is a must for any shopaholic wanting to hit off everything on their list in one go! You have lots of souvenir stalls, coffee stalls, fresh fruit, spices, fabrics,... More

The actual building is closed for renovations hence they have setup outside the building in a temporary structure. It's quite busy and there are lots of things to see. Getting around is pretty difficult as the stores have been packed in the temporary structure. It's a cool place to visit and look around.

Enjoyable visit, bought a few pieces but with much haggling to cut the prices to something realistic. Having small denomination USD notes is a must. Glad to have had the experience and should be visited.

Lots of interesting goods for sale. Particularly liked all the mushrooms and seafood items. Fun just walking through. Most of the vendors are wholesalers so individual purchasers are discouraged.

The Binh Tay Market building is closed for renovations and the market has moved to the opposite space - so it is extremely crowded and difficult to move around. However, the price of the goods here are really unbeatable as the vendors are normally wholesale suppliers. For that, most prices are fixed. We got a steal price on ground coffee... More
