Possibly Hue’s most recognizable landmark, this pagoda contains numerous living and working buildings for its resident monks, a bell tower and a seven-tiered monument in front.

Lovely boat ride to destination only spoiled by the owner of boat assertively trying to sell souvenirs. Pagoda and surroundings beautifully tended. Really, quite worth a very quick trip with a good guide. Ours, Miss Van, was the absolute very best. Proud of her history...More

The earlier you arrive the better it is because tours tend to arrive towards the afternoon. It's so peaceful here even in the rain! It's really beautiful and you can see why the monk school is here. Love the air of calm.

This is a nice and peaceful pagoda with ancient architecture. It is located in a small mountain and has a big garden to relax, stay away from the busy life. You can come here by car, by motobike or by boat. One attention is that...More

Cute pagoda in front of the river and free entrance. It is close to the imperial city and easy to reach.

This pagoda is right on the banks of the Perfume River. It is really pretty. What sets it apart from the others is the Austin driven by the first monk to self-immoliate in front of President Diem. He started a wave of self immoliation which...More

You don't need much time there. It's not a very big site. Some great photo opportunities. Take a boat trip to there if you can.

Lovely pagoda overlooking the perfume river, worth a wander around. It also has the Austin that was owned by the monk who burned himself in protest.

This is supposedly the oldest Pagoda in Hue. It’s okay but nothing different really from any other Pagoda we have seen numerous times before. This one overlooks the river and is a launching point for a bunch of dragon boats. This Pagoda kept our attention...More

I'm not sure of the closing time, however if you want to wander around the outside of it you can. The exterior of the pagoda is worth seeing if that is all the time you have.
