One of the women who was making mini carpets allowed me to help her with a carpet thread. It was so neat participating in a activity that women have been doing for hundreds of years.

There are so many different carpets, and it is even more about traditions and culture of Azerbaijan. Its beautiful, and seems like you returning back in time for 200 years ago. Highly recommend to visit to all history lovers!

A very good collection on three floors of a building that is an architectural achievement. Good interactive content as well as live carpetmaking.
