Interesting old fashioned oil field with the nodding donkeys or pecking birds. Quite interesting though intrinsically ugly of course.

Boom Town is an industrial area where I do not like to be more. Pollution is bothering and you can feel smell of oil there.

Avoid Baku. It is an expensive and dirty city run by corrupted regime of Dictator Aliyev. Police is brutal and follow you everywhere.

Amazing experience, must see, If you have a little bit time, to drive around Baku. Install good gps navigation, you will be surprised how is this industry, oil industry working. Oil and mud everywhere, be aware of rainy days, or bring a solid boots.
