It is very close to my house and takes only 5 min. to reach over there. I really love to walk in the early morning. Lot of trees and greeneries and atmosphere is still good as compare to the other parks in Dhaka.

Its the largest park of Dhaka city and hosts lots of activities around the year, such as Pahela Boishak, etc. However, the condition of the park leaves much to be desired. Okay for a stroll and if you want a breather from the congestion of the city. Foreigners are recommended to travel with a local.

My recent visit to Ramna Park brings back memories from early 80's. This park was so nice and very fresh then now it looks very polluted.

I went there to have a meeting with friends and had the dinner. Very good Chinese food. Soup was great. Moderate price. Located in the same place of Ramna restaurant inside the Ramna Park.

Went to a birthday party. It was ok. Food was ok. Too much noise though. Budget food. Spacious. It's a place where Dhaka people can go without thinking much about cost. Service is not good at all. You have ask again n again, call again n again.

You will have a real break in busy city life here. As its located within the city it doesn't take much to reach there. Popular for hosting Bangla New Year celebration and carries lots of memories of national happening.

Ramna Park is basically a park open for all and no tickets are needed for entry. Its quite large with lake. It is Famous for Bengali New Year Celebration (14th April). At a place of this park called "Ramna Botomul" people get together early in the morning, basically at dawn and welcome new year by singing song "Esho He Boisakh"... More

A nature park, situated at the heart of the city. Its really good to spend time in the morning or in the evening for a leisure walk or to chat with friend in fresh air.

I have visited this place many times in my school & college life. The best part & attraction is the green trees & nature. No entry fee.. just go inside & feet the nature. Best time to visit in October to march. Carry water & dry food or you have to buy from Hawkers inside the park. Try to exit... More
