Had a good time on return visit to Sharky's after long absence. Staff attentive and low-key; good prices; friendly clientele; good music! There must be some unfortunate experiences here, according to other reviews, but for me all fine. Customers should behave and safeguard valuables as in any busy bar/pub!

I went there on a Saturday night and they had a live band playing rock and roll covers. It's a big place with a couple of pool tables, reasonably priced drinks and a chill place to spend a couple hours

Sharky bar and restaurant has been operating in Phnom Penh for many many years. It is a great place to hang out, play some pools and making new friends. It is also a so-called pick up joint for those lonely travellers. This restaurant serves great food and the pizza is really good. It is just so awesome to be going... More

I have visited Sharkys almost yearly since there ever was a Sharkys. Ancient lore of the Jesters MC Club out of Pattaya were the foundation of a rock n roll heritage. Sharkys was in a decaying orbit in my mind for the past few years, regardless I returned for the annual pilgrimage. Last year, about this time I ordered a... More

What a legend of a place. Rock n roll for expats, visitors and locals. Try out the Mortar cocktail. About 8 shots and other bits served in an actual mortar shell! Staff are really, um, interesting and you get the feeling if you do something wrong, then it might be a long trip on your bum down the stair case.... More

A Phnom Penh bar with its own legend: a Phnom Penh institution. Sharky’s celebrated its 20th anniversary December 2015. Live music. Open mic nights.

An institution that has revived and surged on since the recent death of one of the original owners a few months ago and I am glad they are booking a wider range of bands than before when it was repetitive. Great staff and a new kitchen is bring Sharky back to a great venue

Not on the Riverfront, but close. Doesn't really get going till 9 pm or so. Serves western and asian food, a little on the expensive side. Lots of European expats and tourists. Mostly single men, but some couples. Extensive staff. Large bar area with tables spread around the bar. Has a couple of pool tables. Recommend a visit for anyone... More

Great spot for Phnom Penh underground music. For honest to goodness camaraderie among local expat gents, positive vibes and a very friendly and well trained staff, Sharky's is the place to go. The place feels like a huge biker's bar. Billiard tables, bar at the center, good selection of beers, rock n'roll music and the visits of mature Khmer hookers... More

We went for a pool tournament which was quite good but the bar itself seemed a bit overpriced which kind of killed the vibe. Appeared to be mainly populated by expats which is usually a good sign. Probably not the best bar in Phnom Penh to start a night out in but it would be nice for a couple of... More

Hi Emily! The beers are $1-50 to clarify that and we do need to finance the good pool tables, as you say, the big bar and the live music. Cheers to your group! More
