There are many rave reviews so need I say more other than you must visit - it is situated within the Royal Palace complex. Nearby are some attractive stupas containing the ashes of previous members of the Cambodian Royal Family.

Very interesting and lots of beautiful buildings. Not very expensive to get in and if you have a guide book there isn’t much need for a guide unless you want to spend a few hours looking around. We took about an hour to go around everything and were happy with the guidebook descriptions (Rough Guides book of Cambodia). It was... More

The titel says i, it is not a must have been place. If you have short time, take only care of the Buddha insight. Amazing emerald in one piece!

The Silver Pagoda is located on the south side of the Royal Palace. It was previously known as Wat Ubosoth Ratanaram. The Pagoda's official name is Preah Vihear Preah Keo Morakot which is commonly shortened to Wat Preah Keo in Khmer. We had an outstanding guide for both the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, very important if you wish... More

The Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda are in the same complex. We visit it during the afternoon and we believe that it is the best time. It is a place to get to know a lot of history from Cambodia.

This was also disappointing that the visit to the Silver Pagoda entailed walking around a dusty small building. The artefacts needed cleaning and could have been much better

Defiantly a place to visit. Set along side the Royal Palace you will be astounded by the beauty. Make sure you grab a guide at the beginning as they are worth the extra money.

Its a superb collection of the Budhdha Statues. Whole floor is fitted with Silver Tiles. That's 5 Ton of Silver. Respect their rituals of not taking photographs. Its a good visit overall
