This pagoda is in the same complex as the Royal Palace. I really wanted to see the silver floor, but that is actually quite disappointing as most of it is covered in carpet and the tiles which are visible aren't polished and the joints are rather bizarrely covered in sellotape! However, the artefacts in the room are worth seeing, especially... More

If you are looking at this then you will be including the building on your tour of the Royal Palace since it's on the garden. It has a floor made of some 5000 small silver tiles but apart from a small 4' roped off are its all covered with a red carpet. Not much else to see really

I was disappointed that this was 40 000 r for tourists and 1 000 for locals. I understand the need for tourist prices but I thought this was taking it a bit far. This probably made me like it less to be fair the buildings are beautiful and interesting but not a good insight to "real" Cambodian life.

Beautiful building and statues inside. Dress appropriately and respectfully. Combine with visit to Royal Palace grounds. We went late afternoon and were the last to leave. Meant the experience was much better.

As part of the Royal Palace, you get to go in here. Take your shoes off as it's a temple. You go in and look at where the protective carpet has been rolled back... silver floor tiles - yes real SILVER! Must be worth a fortune, oddly the Khmer Rouge didn't steal anything like this. Nice display of numerous Buddha... More

Well maintained. Inside the royal palace. You get to take lots of photos as it is really a beautiful location. The inside is great bt not at par with thai temples.

this is rigiht beside the royal palace and with similar architecture, therefore it was not initially clear where one stopped and the other started. The building and interior are very interesting, as are the pagoda scultpures, and I highly recommend.

I have no idea that it's located in the back of Royal Palace. I've taken lots of pictures outside Royal Palace and in the palace w/ my camera, so when I came to Silver Pagoda, ny camera battery has dried :(
