We visited the museum after reading some reviews. It's basic but well though out, with high quality short documentaries which play on loop are place around the exhibit (all were very interesting) Great way to spend an afternoon. A must see

Another couple recommended this to us, we hadn't even heard about it and the reason why becomes obvious when you get there. The visitor centre shows a mind blowing documentary that uncovers the secret war on laos. It's incredible to see the devastation that happened...More

I spent a very interesting hour wondering around the exhibits in the visitors centre. It was very well done with lots of good information and dioramas. It was confronting and emotional but well worth it..

This centre is worth going to see just to get the depth of the Vietnam war. I have no problems with the USA, in fact I have worked for three ver big corporates. The Vietnam war was active when I was in the U.K. Forces,...More

We went expecting to spend 15 minutes but spent an hour. My wife is not a museum person but she wanted to stay longer. If you are unfamiliar with the US's horrific bombing of Laos, you should go to this small museum. More bombs dropped...More

This must be a regular stop on the tourist circuit, but, depressing as it is, it is worthwhile. Laotians describe a "secret war", which is mostly a secret only to us in the U.S. COPE provides disability services for the unfortunate victims of (formerly) un-detonated...More

Must do when you're in Laos. Small but very interesting exhibition about uxo's and how the Laotians try to cope with it. Free entrance but a donation is more than welcome!

Great little museum that provides great insight into some of Laos history. If you have time watch the 50 min doco Bomb Harvest. Very insightful.

I have visited Cope many times, each time i choke up with tears. It can be a very raw experience. The shop sometimes has limited merchandise, but the exhibits are a must to visit

We watched a 50 min documentary while we were there - had intended to only watch a few minutes but couldn't tear ourselves away. There were several different films you could choose to watch and we would have stayed longer to watch them if we'd...More

Sorry I didn't get back sooner but the wifi the past couple of weeks hasn't been great. I see you have the information now and hope you get to visit the centre. You can walk to the centre if you don't want to take a Tuk Tuk... More
