Together with Wat Ong Teu and Wat Inpeng, they are temples with no tourists. More like a monastery. Quiet. You could take your time to appreciate the art and space with no interference from group of tourists.

A lovely temple right in the heart of the city as many are. At the gates though there are statues which make this one slightly more unique for Laos, ( more Thai style).

No admission fee. Can walk around the grounds first and take photos. Must remove shoes before entering the temple. Easy to stop here when walking in the city.

There are a lot of beautiful temples in Vientiane, and this is one. There are however, no exhibits or information in English, so to appreaciate it and know what is what, a guide would be good.

If your time here is limited then this is one of the few places worth a visit. One of the more interesting wats.
