A quick inspection of my favorite store showed the doors chained and the premises empty.

I blame the opening of a new supermarket, E-Mart, right next door.

E-mart is not a patch on the old Sky supermarket, especially for fresh produce.

Sky will be sorely missed.

This department store has necessities if you have forgotten something. It is mostly a grocery store and has everything you could need. Fruits, vegetables, tea, coffee, bread and much more. They also have a small souvenir shop for travelers as well as select cashmere.

As it is in our neighborhood, we shop here often. The groceries are good, and they have a great dairy and bakery. They do feature a deli, butcher and produce, and have a nice souvenir section. The store also offers housewares and apparel, and the rest of the center has additional shopping. We like to grab lunch at the Ti Amo coffee shop, where we recommend the fruit salad and chicken salad. There are additional shops with jewelry and make-up, as well as a beauty salon. There is also a Korean restaurant, Seoulis.
The main store offers a discount card, with some savings. A large number of ATMs are present on the lower level toward the hotel.
The shopping can be entered from the Chinggis Khaan Hotel, unless they are having a reception.

as my rating given 3/5, it's not a bad place neither special. But anyway for Mongolia, I would rank this shopping mall as the 4th one after state department store, Maxmall, UB department store. What I like there is the Korean food corner in the supermarket. OK, a little expensive for their kimchi but you can find there the best soft tofu of UB ! I used to go there mainly for the tofu. Not many foreigners there, more Mongols. Good and easy access from and to the hotel Chingis Khan, next to it.

This isn't really a touristy-shopping place, although there is a small souvenir area. The grocery selection is excellent though with fresh fruits and vegetables and a large selection of meats, dairy, and so on. This is also a great place if you need blankets or home goods. Not much selection of clothing. Upstairs there's a toy/children's goods area and a tiny cashmere selection. The prices are a little higher than State Department Store but if you're on this side of town it's very convenient.

Ran down to the Sky Department Store on my last night in UB. Looking for souvenirs, there was a small souvenir hut in one area of the store where I bought my wife a felt camel. Many locals love the fresh food options outside in the summer time. The selection is much better at the State Department Store when it comes to souvenirs and tourist stuff.

Was wandering it UB near the square and just stopped in this place. This mall makes UB seem like a more metropolitan city. Burberry, kids Burberry, Cartier, Tag Heuer and all of the other brands. I can't really call this place a tourist spot, but it does show that UB is trying to move into the lights a major world city.

The prices are very high and you probably do not want to go here to buy but the sight of the mall and the different stores are a little out of place.
