Stayed with a group in a yurt for a night in the national park and ended up going for a hike to a nearby monastery. Amazing views while hiking and clean air which is a nice break from Ulaanbaatar. This is a must in Mongolia.

This was a fun and interesting place to visit and see both some interesting scenery and the life of the locals. Staying in a ger camp was also a highlight.

We just did a day trip here and it was beautiful. There were a few beautiful ger camps with different levels of comfort, all beautifully situated. We would have loved to stay here overnight, it looked lovely.

Loved the wide open spaces but not all the ger resort camps. Our resort was not very full and we did a lovely wildflower walk behind and up into the rocks. We didn't ride any horses (didn't want to smell horsey for the rest of...More

Would definitely recommend this nice national park. We did it after a tour, so 1 day together with the Genghis Khan statue was enough. We hired a driver for the day for USD60 to visit the statue and drive through the park what was very...More

Love the fire place in the gers, great fun making dumplings and lovely staff eager to please, lots of meats. Ask in advance for non-meat eaters.

Early October is clearly not the time to visit this park. It’s beautiful but barren, and the only real thing to see is the wind-carved rock formations. Our Ger camp was AWESOME, though: Tenger Resort. The luxury Ger with heated floors and a deck hit...More

No idea sorry, we booked a private driver he took us around for the day. It was really cheap, we booked it in the Government Department store when we were there.

I booked a tour through Viator. I was on a tight window so I found a trip that fit my timeline. It was good, you will love it.
