It says that planning a trip is part of the trip itself.

Mongolia has been a long-term dream for me and my wife, which finally came true through Goyo Travel.

Big thanks to Olly, who patiently answered our questions and thoughts. As a result, we got a 13-day trip tailored just for us, which also went according to plan. Special thanks to the guide for this, Jak, who in a good mood explained what we saw in different parts of Mongolia. He also introduced us to the local food, drink and customs culture. And helped with the local souveris (including food and local drinks). I especially appreciate that I felt that there were no topics that could not be talked about.

As a preconceived notion, we had that Mongolia is a beautiful country, but still its beauty positively surprised us.
The lack of trees, the infinity of the landscape is of course a bad thing in terms of desertification, but on the other hand it is very telling and beautiful. The sand and clay formations, like the dunes of the Gobi, were forever imprinted on the heart. As well as the wonderful rock formations and the horses, camels, yaks, sheep and goats lying in the valleys.

The different gers gave a small taste of the nomadic life, and our fondest memories were the more basic gers, where we were either by candlelight, or we kept the ger warm with help of a fire place.
Of course, in the luxurious bed of a luxury ger, it was amazing to think that "hey, we're really in Mongolia".

A strong recommendation to go to Mongolia, go and make a unique – once in a lifetime trip - with Goyo Travel

The Goyo travel company was well organized and thought about many small details. On the way there is a 'snackbox' and the driver or guide made coffee, what is just an example how well thought through it all was.
Staying at the local families was absolutely stunning, local and we were the only ones. I can imagine the company owners spent a lot of research and briefing the Nomad families how to receive us as tourists. The meals were well prepared and the horse and camel rides where not at a touristy place, it was the livestock from the local families what made it feel so unique and special.
The driver and guide were more then 'just' their title, they became part of our family. We traveled with a just 2 year old and a 3 year old child in October, but that was absolutely fine in terms of cold. when having the right cloths, it is great and with beautiful Autumn colors. Goyo Travel are experienced with families as they thought about kids car seats, travel cots, spare sheets, etc. and the driver and guide were well chosen and a perfect fit to our family. They had a lot of knowledge about nature, animals and the history.

It's not by accident that Goyo receives 5 of 5 on 223 reviews! We are adventure travelers who seek unusual, non-touristy locations. Photography, Golden Eagle Hunters and unique cultural experiences were our primary travel hopes and we were 150% delighted!

Given two unexpected trip cancellations, we had three different "initial" inquiries. All were met with prompt and complete responses specifically personalized to our situation. Goyo's itinerary was easy to read and simply presented - ideal for sharing with family/friends at home as well as our own understanding of the trip.

Our trip was above and beyond all expectations. We were thrilled by the
unexpected, magnificent beauty of Outer Mongolia.
-Our home stay was fun, informative and lively. We especially appreciated our host's humor and astounding expertise in absolutely everything; FABULOUS photo shoot with three hunters on Dayan Lake; sweet encounters with small children.
-The Golden Eagle Festival was impressive, chaotic, entertaining and ohso
memorable!
-Enjoyed shopping opportunities at Festival and in UB.
-Goyo staff was outstanding. Guide Beck was absolutely terrific - impressive, courteous, thoughtful, professional, knowledgeable and kind. Drivers were amazing, especially during the "white outs" and creek crossings. Cooks were hard workers and so very dear. Every meal was beautifully prepared and presented.
-Oh my, those Russian vehicles were amazing and always clean. We enjoyed the 5+ hour rides immensely but would not recommend for travelers who are skittish about adventure or require comfort.
-Gers were a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Weather was very cold during our stay (even for our experience living in the US "polar vortex" of Minnesota) but we acclimated well enough by wearing many, many layers. The heavy sheepskin cover was a life-saver during the night as was the 7:00 am and pm fire stokings! Grateful for toilet seats and plenty of toilet paper in the "mobile" toilets.

Thanks to every single person at Goyo for a POL ("pinnacle of life") experience!

I went to Mongolia on a private solo tour with Goyo Travel, in September 2023. It was a trip I had long dreamed to do. From the first contact by mail, Goyo Travel answered quickly and professionally. They understood perfectly what I wanted to do, and helped me put together all my wishes. I went to Gobi, Karkorum and the Sagsai Eagle Festival. It was very intense, long distances by car or by plane, and a wonderful trip. The landscape was stunning, the monasteries and the monks chanting were special, the guides and drivers very kind and professional. And the eagle festival was unique, more than I had dreamed of. I highly recommend Goyo Travel, and if I had to start it all over again, it would surely be with them.

We did an extensive three week trip including the Gobi desert and the Eagle Hunter festival in the Alti mountains. We had numerous hiccups that come with traveling in remote corners of the world. Goyo travel were superb at instantly responding and adapting to changed circumstances, and always done with a smile. The communication was first rate and options explained and considered. They made it work. If I were to go back to Mongolia I would not consider anyone else.

The country is stunning, vast and beyond description. Our trip with Goyo Travel enhanced the experience. The guide was informative, the staff responsive and pro-active, the driver excellent, and the 'little extras' (such as fresh coffee on the road) very welcome. The proposed itinerary suited our purposes and the accommodation was generally excellent - we particularly enjoyed the ger home-stay in Khustain National Park. All in all, we had a wonderful time!

We fell in love with Mongolia and we thank Goyo for providing the best touring experience for us.

Our tour guides and drivers were fabulous and have always tried their best to satisfy our wishes and needs. They are friendly , knowledgeable and keen to share their love for the country with their guests.

We love our private tour that has given us the flexibility in itinerary changes and intimate experience while visiting local herders family. We loved the vast open space and landscape and Gobi and absolutely loved the opportunity to be part of the golden eagle festival at Sagsai!

Olly our initial contact at Goyo was excellent in recommending destinations options and provided his onsite experience to best design our tour.

Thank you Goyo again and we hope to come back to Mongolia again.

Goyo Travel provided a really professional and personal service organising our tour to Mongolia from initial enquiry through to completion. The trip was well planned and gave us an opportunity to experience a wide and varied area of Mongolia and its sights within our 6 day tour. Their guide spoke excellent English and was very well informed on the countries history and customs which he relayed in a clear and friendly manner. Our driver was very competent and jovial such that we became a very friendly group both on the day tours and in the evening leisure periods. We would highly recommend this company and give it 5 stars .

We took a 5 day driving tour which was so enjoyable!! The best thing about this tour of central Mongolia was our outstanding guide, Bibi. The scenery was amazing- the different gers where we stayed were a fun experience. We rode a camel and saw the wild Przewalski’s horses, huge Steppe Eagles, foxes, Red Deer and more!! We visited several monasteries and heard the monks chanting and had many more experiences than I can describe! Goyo Travel was responsive during the booking process and attentive to our needs during the trip and they provided lots of information ahead of the trip. I highly recommend this tour company if you’re considering visiting Mongolia!!
