If you come to istanbul for pleasure, you HAVE TO visit old town area. THere are many monuments are stated there. Musts are Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya), Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet) , Underground Cistern(Yerebatan Sarnıcı), Grand Bazaar(Kapalıçarşı), Beyazıt Tower, Spice Bazaar(Egyptian Market)and more. Most visitors come to Istanbul to see its historical and cultural attractions and old part of the city is of course full of them. It's a definitely a must see for a every visitor, despite large crowds, sometimes pesky sellers and overpriced souvenirs and food.

If you look for night life in Istanbul, I suggest you to consider to go to Istikal Caddesi & Taksim Meydani. You also con check with your hotel concierge or receptionist for the related information.
