Most visitors come to Istanbul to see its historical and cultural attractions and old part of the city is of course full of them. It's a definitely a must see for a every visitor, despite large crowds, sometimes pesky sellers and overpriced souvenirs and food.

We spend five days in the city and really didn't have enough time to visit all the places. However, the city along with its historical treasures are really impressive. This is one segment of our Silk Road expedition, which we're not disappointed.

If you look for night life in Istanbul, I suggest you to consider to go to Istikal Caddesi & Taksim Meydani. You also con check with your hotel concierge or receptionist for the related information.
