I had planned this tour for years but the tours on the internet seemed way over priced. On contacting some, you had to join a tour & go when they are ready (battlefield tours for instance). We flew into Aturak hired a car then drove down the northern side of the Sea of Mamara to Escaebat on the northern side... More

Hired a car, driver, and guide for the day, the guides English was excellent , pity I can't remember their names , and the company, but any good hotel could tell you,................an amazing day, long but worth it was bitterly cold , and very few people there, which made it better, had dinner at a farmhouse on the way home.

We did the two day tour to Gallipolii & Troy, thought it was a long journey from Istanbul so we included Troy. Gallipolii was fascinating the guide (sorry lost the paper with his name) was very good and his knowledge was outstanding. He laid to rest some of the misconceptions of who was to blame for certain battles (The Neck).... More

Great tour, Hasan was very knowledgable and gave plenty of great stories. He also provides some nifty photos and maps which really helped in understanding where things happened and how they related. We joined from Eceabat so don't know what the journey from Istanbul was like but the other people seemed happy. Recommended.

Well lets start of with the service. The service that we were approached with was amazing. I travelled all that way from Australia, Melbourne to see the war we lost our great great grandfathers in, it was emotional but at the same time it was interesting, amusing....... Our Trip Instructor was very educated with fluent English i honestly felt like... More

We signed up for a day trip with RSL tours via a Tourist office called Insider Travel. We were picked up by 630 am, had a great breakfast on the way and arrived at the main town by 11:30. After lunch at a local hotel, we went on an excellent tour with Hasan who was extremely knowledgeable. He had even... More

We were keen to visit Gallipoli but didn't want to spend too much of our time on this part of the Turkish leg of our holiday so the one day tour worked well for us. We were picked up from our Istanbul hotel promptly at around 7.15 and began the 5 hour journey to our destination. The bus was modern... More
