Obelisk of III Thutmose, adjacent to Blue Mosque,is an excellent piece of architecture at Sultanahmat area of Fatih in Istanbul and must visit!

This old structure is situated at the Ground beside Blue Mosque a very popular place for the Tourists.

very old monument and well maintained. And only after our guide informed we came to know that the road we were walking around the Obelisk is old Hippodrome. Our guide informed about the inscriptions from Roman Latin/Greek and obviously the Hieroglyphics.A very rich History.
