Hula Nature reserve is not a must do on your visit to Israel (unless you are a bird watcher) however it is very beautiful and you will see animals. We saw water buffalo, numerous birds, turtles, fish and a few other mammals. Hula Nature reserve is a well run nature reserve that is VERY crowded on Saturdays. It is awesome... More

Take the tractor ride for birdwatching and not the electric buggy or Bycicles etc the tractor takes you places where you can't reach on your own with the buggy or Bycicles because of the mud. It is a nature reserve and you really close to thousands and thousands of birds migrating from north to south beginning end of September until... More

It's not vast as natural parks go, but it does contain a good variety of wildlife. Birds are abundant but also check for turtles and othe species. The boardwalk has been very well designed and makes for a comfortable walk while not taking away the impression that you're in the wild. We loved it!

This is a great place for bird-watchers, couples, and families with children. The boardwalk makes it accessible and simple, not a long hike, with an excellent visitors center and a terrific 3D movie the kids will love (I loved it too, and I'm a grandmother). Just don't go on a rainy day.

Our family including 7 young grandchildren aged 8 to a year had a lovely morning at this nature reserve. There is a beautiful 3d film which can be enjoyed by kids from the age of 5. The path is ready for strollers, takes you along the canals and lake very close to the birds and fishes. There is an observation... More

There are two locations in the Hula Valley for viewing the nature and wildlife in this area. One is the Hula Nature Reserve and the second The Argammon Lake Nature Reserve. The former involves an introductory film as well as a delightful circuilar walk through swamp territories on prepared walk ways and includes observatories as well as viewing points. Wildlife... We had heard that we could rent bikes and ride around the reserve, but were initially disappointed to find out that they are available at another area, not at the National Park. We then enjoyed the introductory film, which effectively showed the crucial importance of the Hula Valley as a resting point for birds migrating between Europe and Africa. We... More

The bird migration is unbelievably beautiful. We took an open tour truck from the Galili company. We saw many bird species ad well as boars and nutria. This is unmissable in the autumn.

The reserve has an 8 km round trail than can be hiked by foot or rented bikes/buggies/golf carts. You can of course bring your own bikes (my daughter did it with her roller blades last time we were there) Lots of places to rest on the way and view the variety of birds and wildlife all year long. The most... More
