A family walk with grandparents and an eight year old boy. The park was fun for him with challenging climbing equipment. The view is magnificent and it is a pleasant shady walk.

One of the outstanding attractions for visitors to Haifa is the view of the bay and port from the hilltops and this is an excellent viewing point.

Yes, the view is great, and it's a nice promenade, but the city does a terrible job at maintaining this place. No one is there, to clean it up after people mess it up at night. Shame on you city of Haifa mayor!

Haifa is a delightful town. The port area is much less threatening than many! The European Mediterranean feel is very welcome. The integration of peoples from various origins and religions is very encouraging.
