This is one of the most beautiful places in Haifa. The place is well kept and clean. There are many interesting cafés, restaurants, bars and hotels. You may wander around to feel the genius loci.

I was very surprised to learn that there was a German colony in Israel! however it starts at the base of the Bahai gardens and on towards the port. very well maintained and has several al fresco dining options

we had a guided tour of the German colony with a PhD guide who knew the fascinating history of the Templars. That's what made the buildings especially interesting.

We have come to the German Colony with European friends to find a lovely holiday spirit, enchanted with holiday lights and decoration - what a wonderful place to visit during the holiday season on December
