I myself am not the biggest fan of ports and this one did not particularly change my mind. But if you visit the gardens might as well visit this side as well.

Very happening area. Visit start from Haifa lock tower. Old Mkt is good but no exciting stuff available. Ocean view is very good & specially in d night when light glow it looks very beautiful. Evening time is best to visit.

You really need a tour guide to explain to the the importance of this port through thousands of years of history. From one civilization to another this port was key to their rule. if you are history buff you will love this place.

Not actually been in the port itself. Mostly I've just seen it from afar atop Mount Carmel, Bahai Gardens or from Sculpture Gardens. Nice.

It's a rather busy but interesting place. Worth a look especially if you come in by ship. We enjoyed wandering around which is fine as long as you have already cleared immigration. Great views from the top of Mt. Carmel

The Port of Haifa is one of two (the other being Ashdod) that services bringing cargo and passengers to Israel. Cruise ships arrive daily from Crete and Cyprus.
