If there are 10 places that you shouldn't leave Israel without seeing, this is one of them. This is truly where it all began. There is a lot of history right under your feet literally. You should not miss this important sight.

It is fascinating to look at the excavations and walk through the tunnels to the Pool of Siloam. Don't miss it!

it is informative and spiritual by usually pleasant guides. Would like to be able to ask a few more questions but we know that time is a problem. This site is important to Christians as well !

Fascinating history here with incredible views to the surrounding hillsides from where his palace may have been. This city is outside the walled old city, but only a short walk away. Lots of excavations here. It’s a National Park. Best with a guide.

And to think that it was buried for so long and still wouldn't have been discovered if a tractor didn't fall into it!!! You are going level after level deeper into history, and it is a fascinating journey, combining and uniting archeology, history and the...More

This was an excellent visit. I recommend taking the guided tour which is typically offered twice per day. We also chose to walk Hezekiah's Tunnel. Came prepared with shorts and old shoes, I discarded mine afterwards. There is a dry tunnel option if you don't...More

Visited the fabulous City of David archaeological sight. Wasn't sure what to expect but didn't want to wade through the old water tunnel. So chose the 'dry route'. Walked down to the pool and then found the old Herodian drain to walk back up. One...More
