This is the perfect place to have a good Humus with the locals. This the main attraction. I recommend to ask the locals for their fav. rest.

Let yourself get lost in there in order to find all the gems, like the house covered entirely with seashells, the authentic restaurants run by old Yemenite women, cute little pubs, the graffiti paintings... And say hello to all the well-fed cats around.

The center of the Yeminite immigrants to Tel Aviv, the houses are small and crowded together. Between the Carmel Market and next to the beach, this is the place to taste the simple but delicious Yeminite cuisine.

Old and unique part of central tel aviv, right off the Carmel Market Full of good, cheap traditional restaurants, excellent Yemenite food and more recently - some upscale pubs and bars well worth the visit

The place is really charming and unique but the garbage from the market attracts rats at night which makes it problematic for a night walk.

The “show” moved to other and more attractive neighborhood in Tel Aviv. Nothing exciting. It isn’t the same as 30-50 years ago. Spend your time better, Tel Aviv is big.
